Mortise Lock

Mortise Lock are locks for doors that are fixed within the Wooden/Plywood Door. These are fixed inside a pocket/cut-out into the edge of a door. They are called as mortice lock in British English. They are the most common type of door handle locks used in India and many differed parts of the world. The common types of mortise locks are sash (has a latchbolt & deadbolt) deadbolt (only has a deadbolt). There are two types of lock mechanism such as cylinder and lever. The mortise locks that use cylinder lock mechanism have a case that requires cylinder locks to enable the deadbolt’s locking and unlocking function via a key.

Mortise Sash Case (Cylinder lock Mechanism) - a mortise lock that has both a deadbolt and a latchbolt. The latchbolt is controlled from the handles on the either side. The deadbolt is operated via cylinder, for locking or unlocking using a key.


Mortise Sash Lock (Lever lock Mechanism) - A mortise lock that has both a deadbolt and a latchbolt. The latchbolt is controlled from the handles on the either side. The deadbolt is operated using a key for locking or unlocking.
Mortise Deadbolt Case (Cylinder lock Mechanism)- a mortise lock that only has a deadbolt. The deadbolt is operated via, cylinder for locking or unlocking using a key. These do not require handles for operation.

Mortise Deadbolt Lock (Lever lock Mechanism) - a mortise lock that only has a deadbolt. The deadbolt is operated using a key for locking or unlocking. These do not require handles for operation.   

Mortise Nightlatch Case (Cylinder lock Mechanism) – a mortise lock that has a latchbolt with automatically locks the door. Key needs to be used to unlock from outside which is enabled by the cylinder. The handle needs to be turned to unlock from inside.


Mortise Nightlatch Lock (Lever lock Mechanism) – a mortise lock that has a latchbolt with automatically locks the door. Key needs to be used to unlock from outside. The handle needs to be turned to unlock from inside.

Mortise Bathroom Lock – a mortise lock that has both a deadbolt and a latchbolt. The latchbolt is controlled from the handles on the either side. The deadbolt is locked or unlocked only from inside using the handle.
 
Mortise Sliding Door Hookbolt Case - a mortise lock that has a hook shaped bolt. The hookbolt is operated via cylinder for locking and unlocking using a key. The hookbolt prevents the sliding door from opening after locking which makes them perfect for Sliding Doors.

Mortise Sliding Door Hookbolt Lock - a mortise lock that has a hook shaped bolt. The hookbolt is operated using a key for locking and unlocking. The hookbolt prevents the sliding door from opening after locking which makes them perfect for Sliding Doors.

Mortise Keyless Latch - a mortise lock that has only a latchbolt. The latchbolt is controlled from the handles on the either side. These do not have a locking function.
